Self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic declares general
mobilisation
The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has declared the
general mobilisation of its military forces, including all reserve personnel.
In a statement released during the morning hours of 19 February, the Head of
the DPR, Denis Pushilin, called on all military-aged men to take up arms and
to mobilise in defence of the DPR. This escalation comes amidst the
evacuation of civilian populations from the DPR to the nearby Russian oblast
of Rostov.
