Multiple civilians
shot dead by security forces during earlier protests in Abu Hamad
Local media sources report that security forces fatally shot two civilians
as clashes erupted during earlier protests near the Qabqaba mine in Abu
Hamad. Multiple other civilians were also left wounded. Reports indicate that
a police station was burned down amid the unrest. Government sources are yet
to comment on the killings.
