President Sarkissian calls for the resignation of the Prime Minister and fresh elections

President Armen Sarkissian released a public statement in which he declares Armenia has lost the war, both in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region and politically in the international arena. In response, Mr Sarkissian has called for the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and fresh parliamentary elections. A new government of National Accord is to be set up.
