Protests underway in central Minsk, arrests reported

Local reporting indicates that several protests are underway in Minsk. Multiple protesters have been detained while rallying outside the Linguistic University. Riot police have also declared they will enter the premises of the University if they continue to protest inside the facility. Another rally is currently being held outside the MZKT, the Minsk tractor plant. Protesters are also reported to now be marching through the streets. Demonstrations have been ongoing since the national election held on 9 August.
