Unidentified
militant attack reported near Mopti on the RN15 Highway
Local media reports indicate that a group of unidentified militants have
conducted an armed attack near Mopti on the RN15 Highway. At least eight
Malian soldiers participating in a military convoy have been killed and a
further five soldiers have been wounded. In addition, five vehicles have been
destroyed as a result of the attack. No further information is available at
this time.
