Update: Chinese Embassy calls earlier bus accident near Pattan bomb attack; 13 killed

The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has said that nine Chinese nationals and three Pakistani nationals have been killed in a bomb attack on a bus near Pattan. The bus had been travelling to the Chinese Dasu hydropower plant. Local media had earlier called the incident a bus accident. The Pakistani military is attending the scene. No group or faction has yet claimed responsibility.
