California - Brushfire triggers evacuation warnings in northern Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County

Authorities in Los Angeles County, California have issued a voluntary evacuation warning for residents of Rye Canyon Loop and North Iron Village Drive due to a large, uncontrolled brushfire in the Santa Clarita area. The fire is approximately 90 acres in size and has triggered a large response from local fire and rescue teams. Additional air support to help tackle the blaze has been requested. No mandatory evacuation orders have been issued at this time.
