Update: Police lift the lockdown at Crosshouse hospital, KillmarnockPolice have confirmed that the lockdown at Crosshouse hospital has been lifted but the other lockdown at Portland Street remains following an earlier incident. One nurse and another hospital employee were stabbed at the hospital prompting an armed police response. A second incident was then recorded at Portland Street although the nature of this remains unclear and then there was a car crash on the A76. At this time police believe all three are linked but do not think it is terrorist-related.
