Second reported fatality caused by the bubonic plague, Inner Mongolia

Multiple media outlets report that an individual has died as a result of the bubonic plague in the city of Bayannur, Inner Mongolia region. This follows the death of a resident in Baotou several days earlier. Both cities have been sealed off to prevent the spread of the plague and health warnings have been issued which are expected to last until the end of this year.
