Over a dozen people killed during heavy flooding in Bahia State
At least 16 people have been killed and a further 278 people have been
injured following heavy flooding in Bahia State. Extreme rainfall has
resulted in flash-flooding and landslides across the region, resulting in the
displacement of more than 11,200 people. Emergency services are working to
rescue people trapped in isolated communities across the region. No further
