Casualties reported following fire at coal mine in Kemerevo
According to media sources, at least 15 miners have been left injured and
more than 100 people remain missing following a fire at the Listvyazhnaya
coal mine in the Belevo area of Kemerevo. More than 115 people were evacuated
due to the smoke in the area. The number of casualties may rise as emergency
rescue operations continue.
