Supporters of Alexei Navalny announce intent to protest in MoscowThe US Embassy in Moscow has issued an alert following the sentencing of a prominent government critic, Alexei Navalny to jail for just short of three years. His supporters have already called for protests to be held in Moscow and possibly other major cities. The time and location of the protests are yet to be announced but may be held at the Moscow City Court, Bogorosky Val Street or Manezh Square.
