Fighting between government forces and separatists reported in
Buea, South West region
According to local reports, armed separatist fighters attacked the city of
Buea early on 12 January, killing at least two civilians. Government forces
engaged the militia fighters and managed to secure the area. The city is a
home base for four national soccer teams competing in the Africa Cup of
Nations.
