Opposition calls for nationwide protests, 27 September

Preliminary reports indicate that opposition groups called for further protests following the inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko's. Protests are anticipated nationwide, including in Minsk's Independence Square, from 14:00 local time on 27 September. Heightened security is anticipated nationwide. Clashes between security forces and protesters cannot be ruled out.
