Eruption reported at Mount Merapi in Yogyakarta, Java

An eruption has been reported at Mount Merapi in Yogyakarta on the island of Java, Authorities have evacuated over 500 people living in the immediate vicinity of the active volcano, and further eruptions are expected. Lava flows have been seen running down the slope of the volcano and large plumes of volcanic ash can be seen. Authorities have stated that the potential danger zone is no further than 5 kilometres from the summit of Mount Merapi at present

자바 섬의 족 자카르타에있는 메라 피 산에서 분화가보고되었으며 당국은 활화산 바로 근처에 거주하는 500 명 이상의 사람들을 대피 시켰으며 추가 분화가 예상됩니다. 화산의 경사면을 따라 흐르는 용암의 흐름이 보이며 화산재의 큰 기둥을 볼 수 있습니다. 당국은 잠재적 위험 지역이 현재 메라 피 산 정상에서 5km 이내라고 밝혔습니다.
