Multiple injuries reported following explosion at police
base in Uchiza
Local media sources report that at least seven individuals were injured in
an explosion at the Santa Lucia Anti-Drug Police Base in Uchiza, a district
in the region of Tocache. Reports indicate that the blast affected homes as far
as five kilometres away. Dozens of residences were reportedly damaged. The
blast was reportedly caused when officers attempted to dispose of explosive
material.
