Curfew imposed following tribal clashes in Port Sudan and Saukin

Authorities have imposed a nighttime curfew between 12:00 and 04:00hrs local time in Port Sudan and Suakin after rival tribes clashed with each other. At least six people were killed and a further 20 injured after members of the Hadandawa tribe came into conflict with the Beni Amer tribe over the removal of the governor of Kassala state.
