Anti-government protest underway in Santiago

Local media reports that anti-government protesters are gathered on the Avenue Ricardo Cumming in Santiago, preventing traffic from using the road. Activists affiliated with the Coordinadora de 18 Octubre group are demanding the release of other anti-government protesters who have been arrested in previous demonstrations.

Update: Several buses set alight by protesters in Santiago Local media reports that anti-government protesters have set fire to at least three buses at the Central Station in Santiago. Emergency services are at the scene but there have been no reported casualties.
