Eyewitness videos show a large crowd of protesters and a heavy police presence in the area. It also show incidents of violence between the two groups. Federal Court rejects lawsuit to annul election results

According to local media sources, the Iraqi Supreme Court has rejected a lawsuit to annul the election results. There have been a number of protests in Baghdad and throughout the country calling for the results to be annulled. There were earlier protests today, 27 December, in Baghdad and more protests could be expected throughout the country.

현지 보도에 따르면, 이라크 대법원은 이라크 전역에서 진행된 선거의 결과를 무효로하는 소송에 대한 기각을 결과로
발표했습니다. 
시위대는 이번에 열린 총선에 대해서 "부정 선거, 선거 조작, 기존 시아파의 야당화, 반이란 정부" 등을 
외치며 선거 무효를 요구하는 시위를 진행하고 있습니다. 
시위는 날로 과격해지고 있으며 이번 재판 결과로 더 많은 시위가 진행될 수 있습니다.
