Building collapsed reported in Catalca in Istanbul following high winds

The clock tower of a local government office in Catalca in Istanbul has collapsed following high winds in the city. Video footage of the incident shows that the clock tower collapsed into an open space. No injuries have been reported following this incident.

Update: Fatalities and multiple injuries reported following strong winds in Catalca and Esenyurt

At least four people have been killed and a further 19 people have been injured following strong winds that have damaged multiple buildings in Catalca and Esenyurt in Istanbul. Heavy winds have lifted rooves off of buildings which have subsequently impacted and crush nearby pedestrians. Initial reports suggest that several planes have been unable to land at Istanbul Airport due to the adverse weather conditions.
