Update: Protesters enter government building in Almaty, clashes
continue
According to updated local news reports, protesters have entered the
government building (Akimat House) located on Republic Square in Almaty.
Images posted on social media appeared to show smoke rising from the
vicinity. Elsewhere in the city, clashes continue between protesters and
security forces, who have fired rubber bullets and deployed tear gas in a bid
to disperse the crowds.
Update: Almaty 정부 청사에 시위대 진입, 충돌이 지속되고 있음현지 보도에 따르면, 시위대들이 Almaty내 Republic Square 에 위치한 정부 청사 (Akimat House)에 진입했다고 합니다.
SNS에 게시된 사진을 통해 청사에서 연기가 피어 오르고 있음을 확인할 수 있었습니다.
시내의 다른 지역들에서는 군경이 군중을 해산시키기 위해 고무탄을 발사하고 최루탄을 발사하는 등
충돌이 지속되고 있습니다.

Tear gas deployed amid protests in Aktobe
According to local news reports, police in the city of Aktobe fired tear
gas at protesters gathered near the regional administration building during
afternoon hours local time. Reports suggest several people have been injured
in clashes between security forces and protesters. Public transport has
reportedly been suspended in the city and communication networks have been
restricted.

State of emergency declared in Nur-Sultan
According to local news reports, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev has declared a state of emergency in Nur-Sultan effective 5 January
through 19 January due to ongoing nationwide protests. During the state of
emergency, entry and exit to/from the city will be restricted and protests
will be prohibited.
Nur-Sultan (아스타나 시)에 비상사태가 선포현지 보도에 따르면 카자흐스탄 대통령 Tokayev는 지속되는 전국적인 시위 발생에 대해서
1월 5일부터 1월 19일 까지 Nur sultan (전 아스타나 시) 지역에 비상사태를 선포 했습니다.
비상 사태 기간 동안에는 시내 출입이 통제되고 검문 검색이 진행되며 시위, 집회가 금지 됩니다.

Large-scale anti-government protest reported in Aktau
According to local sources, approximately ten thousand people have
gathered in Yntymak square in Aktau to demand the resignation of President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. There were no immediate reports of any violence or
arrests.

Multiple security force fatalities reported amid nationwide
protests
According to state media sources, at least eight police officers and
soldiers have died during ongoing nationwide protests. An additional 317 were
injured. There were no reports released as to the number of protesters killed
or injured at this time. The protests are still causing major disruptions
across the country.
