Gunmen attack UNHCR staff convoy in North Kivu on 8 December
According to reports, three members of staff were injured after a UNHCR
convoy was attacked by unknown gunmen in Mambasa, North Kivu on Wednesday 8
December. Initial reports suggest that the attack was likely carried out by
Mai-Mai elements, however, no group has yet claimed responsibility. The
extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed by official sources.
