Evacuation orders issued in Yoshida, Shizuoka Prefecture due to heavy rainfall

Authorities in the prefecture of Shizuoka have ordered evacuations in Yoshida due to heavy rainfall in the area. The order has been issued to 457 households in the Kataoka Ward and 682 households in the Kita Ward. Significant flooding continues to impact Yoshida and the wider prefecture of Shizuoka. The risk of landslides is also elevated in cliffside areas.
