Fatalities reported after gun battle in Celaya

Local media reports that a shoot-out between rival criminal factions took place today in the La Luz district of Celaya that lasted at least thirty minutes. So far the number of victims is unconfirmed. Some sources report two confirmed deaths, while others say as many as eight. Of the confirmed victims, it was reported that one was killed on Hidalgo Street, while the other died when he was taken to hospital.
