Multiple casualties reported following heavy rainfall in Veracruz

According to local media sources, Intense rainfall has left three dead and caused property damage in 11 municipalities across Veracruz on 9 August. Floods and landslides have reportedly affected two state highways and caused various levels of damage to around 1000 properties. In the town of El Crucero, three landslides were reported, resulting in the three aforementioned casualties. Further damages are possible in the coming days due to the saturation of the soil and possible further rainfall.
