Death tolls increases following Magnitude 6.2 earthquake near Bukittinggi
The National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB)
has confirmed seven deaths and 85 casualties following an earlier 6.2
magnitude earthquake. Evacuation efforts have been affected by two
significant aftershocks in the region, and further aftershocks remain likely.
