California - Update: Mandatory evacuation orders issued in northern Santa Clarita due to brushfire

The Santa Clarita Sheriff's Office has confirmed that mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for North and West of West Hills Drive, North Iron Village Drive, North and West of Tesoro Del Valle, and North Copper Hill Drive. The evacuation orders follow the rapid expansion of a brushfire in the area that is now reported to cover a territory of approximately 460 acres. Rye Canyon Loop remains under a voluntary evacuation order at this time.
