Multiple police
officers killed in attack on their position near Kirkuk
According to local media sources, five members of the Federal Police were
killed in an attack launched on their position in Al-Rashad, a district
situated around 20 miles southwest of the city of Kirkuk. Reports are yet to
confirm the group responsible for the attack. Further clashes cannot be ruled
out.
