Update: Lava flows
from the Cumbre Vieja volcano reach Tazacorte
Lava flows from the Cumbre Vieja volcano have reached the urban area of
Tazacorte on La Palma, cutting into a coastal highway and isolating multiple
municipalities. This development follows an announcement from the Government
of Spain that the island of La Palma has been declared a disaster zone as a
result of the volcano's eruption.
