Update: Conflicting reports of conflict continue in the Donetsk Oblast

Conflicting reports of armed conflict are contuining to emerge in the Donetsk Oblast. Statements issued by both the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and its aligned media have accused the Ukrainian government of conducting artillery and shelling operations in Staromykhailivka, Zaitseve, and along the wider Line of Contact (LoC). The Ukrainian government has accused Russia-backed separatists of engaging in sustained attacks on Ukrainian positions throughout the region.
