Protest underway in Multan

Local media reports that workers affiliated with the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) have gathered at the Qila Qasim Bagh Stadium in Multan. Earlier today, protesters rallied at multiple locations including Gilani House before breaking into the stadium and have indicated their intent to stay there for the next 48 hours until representatives of the PDM meet local authorities. There is a large police presence in the immediate area but no reports of clashes.
