North Dakota - Evacuations underway in Medora due to a large wildfire

Local media reports indicate that a large wildfire has prompted the evacuation of approximately 100 residents from the city of Medora in Billings county. The evacuation follows the declaration of a state-wide wildfire emergency on 01 April by Governor Doug Burgum of North Dakota. Federal, state and local fire crews are reported to be operating in the area and have contained a small section of the fire at this time.
