Taiwan - 5.8 magnitude detected east of Yilan
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) indicates that a 5.8 magnitude
earthquake was detected 53km east of Yilan. The offshore tremor was reported
at 21:50 UTC and struck at a shallow depth of 10.5km. Shaking has been felt
in the area. There remains no word on casualties or damage as of yet. No
tsunami warning has been issued thus far.
