120,000 people evacuated due to heavy rainfall in Shanxi Province
Over 120,000 people have been evacuated due to heavy rainfall and flooding
in Shanxi Province. An estimated 1.76 million people have been impacted by
the rising floodwaters and several landslides have been documented in the
region. At least five people are reported to have been killed although
further fatalities and injuries cannot be ruled out. No further information
is available at this time.
