Clashes reported between military and ethnic armed groups in Loikaw, Kayah

Local media sources report that clashes have broken out between Myanmar military forces and ethnic armed groups south of Loikaw in the region of Kayinni. Reports also indicate that military forces have begun shelling the area near Manlon village in the Kutkai township. Casualties have been reported on both sides of the confrontations.
