Suicide bomber kills two in Beni
Local media reports have confirmed that a suicide bomber has targetted and
successfully conducted an attack on a restaurant on Nyamwisi Boulevard in
Beni. The resulting explosion is reported to have killed at least two people
and injured several more. Authorities in Beni have requested all residents of
the city to remain indoors at their residential address for the rest of
Christmas Day due to the event. Emergency services personnel are present at
the scene and are working to limit the extent of the damage caused by the
attack.
