Fatalities reported following landslides in Bagmati Pradesh

At least eight people were killed and one injured after a landslide buried a construction site in Melamchi in the Sindhupalchok district of Bagmati Pradesh early on Monday. At least 24 incidents of landslides have been reported in the district since 2 August, which have triggered the evacuations of around 300 families. Search and rescue operations were ongoing as of afternoon hours local time.
