Taliban advance
into Panjshir valley
Taliban fighters have reportedly advanced into Panjshir Valley, where
resistance fighters of the National Resistance Front (NRF) are controlling
the only province not to have fallen to the Taliban. Italian aid agency Emergency
stated that militants have reached the village of Anabah whilst unconfirmed
reports suggest the Taliban also seized other areas. Fighting between Taliban
and opposition is likely to continue in Panjshir valley.
