Flooding reported in Jambi province

Security sources indicate that at least 1000 homes have been submerged amid flooding in Jambi province. Affected areas include Masumai, Bangko and Margo among others. The flooding, which has been triggered by heavy rain, has also made many roads and bridges impassable. Rescue operations are ongoing.
