Injuries reported as security forces fire live ammunition at civilians in Hlaing, Yangon

Media sources report that at least two people were injured after regime forces threw a grenade and randomly begun firing live ammunition at civilians in the Hlaing Township of Yangon. Reports indicate that security forces exited a train and begun attacking people in the area. Further violence should be anticipated in Yangon and other cities in Myanmar as security forces continue to kill demonstrators protesting the military coup. Yesterday, 27 March, constituted the deadliest day of demonstrations since the 1 February coup, as 27 civilians were killed by security forces in Yangon and 114 civilians were killed across the country.
