Large police presence reported in Yerevan as demonstrators begin to gather

Local media sources report that demonstrators have once again gathered in central Yerevan to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. A large group of police have also gathered nearby, reportedly on Mashtots Avenue. Recent demonstrations over the ceasefire agreement between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces in the contested Nagorno-Karabakh region have resulted in multiple arrests.
