Evacuations underway ahead of Cyclone Yaas, Odisha state

Local media reports that authorities in Odisha state have begun evacuating residents from the coastal areas ahead of Cyclone Yaas which is expected to make landfall near Balasore on 26 May. So far 30,000 people have been evacuated from Kendrapara, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jagatsinghpur whilst 5,000 people have been relocated to cyclone shelters
