California - Update: Evacuation order issued in Lower Lake
due to growing Cache Fire, structural damage reported
Authorities in Lake County, California have issued an evacuation order for
residents in Lower Lake due to the growing Cache wildfire. Those in Zone
LOW-E169 are urged to immediately evacuate due to an urgent threat to life
and property. Evacuation warnings have also been issued to zones LOW-E167,
LOW-E170, and LOW-E176. Local reports indicate that between 25 and 30
structures have been destroyed on Dam Road. Further damage and evacuation
orders should be anticipated in the coming hours.
