Update: Death toll increases to at least 13 following Mount
Semeru eruption
It has been reported that at least 13 have died and many more are injured
following the eruption of Mount Semeru on 4 December at 15:00 local time. The
impact of the eruption has caused severe damage to structures and wildlife.
The affected districts are Candipuro and Pronojiwo. Several other villages
within the radius of the volcano have been blanketed by ashfall.
