Texas - Tropical Storm Beta due to make landfall on 21 September, Galveston

Tropical Storm Beta is currently in the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to make landfall near Galveston on Monday 21 September. The National Hurricane Center predicts the storm to make landfall with sustained winds of 60mph. Over the next four to five days 15 inches of rainfall is predicted in some parts of Texas and Louisiana. Residents in Galveston and the Bolivar Peninsula have been advised to evacuate.
