Magnitude 7.6 earthquake detected north of East Nusa Tenggara
The United States Geological Survey has detected a 7.6 magnitude earthquake
95 kilometres north of Maumere on the island of East Nusa Tenggara. The
tremor occurred at 03:20 UTC at a depth of 75.9 kilometres. No tsunami
warning has currently been issued. Aftershocks remain possible.
