Security forces kill and arrest dozens of Boko Haram militants in Borno state

According to local news reports, Nigerian security forces killed at least 16 members of the Boko Haram terror group and detained 11 others amid an operation in the Kassa Koura area of Maiduguri Town in Borno state, on 18 September. A Defence Ministry spokesperson claimed troops also seized a cache of ammunition and weapons belonging to the terror group.
