Suspected ADF attacks
reported in North-Kivu
Local media reports have alleged that several villages west of the city of
Oicha in North-Kivu have been attacked by militants suspected to be aligned
with the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF). The villages of Mabuo, Mangazi, Matekelambi
and Matadi are amongst those targetted during the attacks. At least nine
people are reported to have been killed, including eight civilians. A further
dozen people are reported to be missing. No further information is available
at this time.
