Several people killed following clashes in Las Choapas, Veracruz

Multiple media outlets report that twelve bodies have been found dumped on a road near Las Choapas, Veracruz. The Governor of Veracruz believes the bodies belong to people affiliated with a local self-defence group and that a split in the group has led to the killings. Additional security forces are being sent to the area to assist local law enforcement in investigating the incident.
