Dam collapse reported following heavy rain in Itambe, Bahia State
It has been reported that the Igua dam has collapsed following heavy rains
in the region. The river Verruga has also burst is banks and ten houses have
collapsed, but there are no reports of casualties at this time. The City hall
has issued an alert for people to leave the banks of the river.
